Get Fired Up at Rep. Bob Dixon’s Luau
SPRINGFIELD, MO — Representative Bob Dixon brings his ‘We the People’ campaign for the Missouri 30th Senate seat to Remington’s. Dixon says, “We are getting Fired Up about secure jobs, strong schools and safe neighborhoods for Missouri”. The campaign is hosting a night of ‘blazing fun for the whole family’ at the Bob Dixon Luau and Polynesian BBQ. It will feature the Island Fire Dancers of Polynesia and delicious BBQ chicken and Ribs.
Dixon’s legislative efforts have centered on crime prevention, public safety, and the protection of children from abuse. His efforts include crime victims’ rights, the advancement of mental health, access to quality and affordable healthcare coupled with insurance reform. Dixon has advocated for property tax reform and the ideals of liberty — limited, responsible government and personal responsibility.
Dixon is currently serving his fourth term in the Missouri House of Representatives. From 2004 to 2008, Dixon was Majority Caucus Chairman. He currently chairs the House Transportation Committee. Dixon has served as a member of the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL), Standing Committee on Economic Development, Trade and Cultural Affairs and the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) and the Criminal Justice Task Force. In 2006, the Speaker of the House appointed Representative Dixon to the Internet Cyber Crime Task Force.
