Dixon for Senate Headquarters Opens September 20
SPRINGFIELD, MO — Following his adopted campaign slogan, “Bringing People Together-Getting Things Done”, Missouri 30th Senate District Candidate Bob Dixon will open his campaign headquarters with a ribbon-cutting and ice cream social on Sunday, September 20 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The office is located in the Elfindale Center, 1701 West Sunshine, Suite G.
Area officials scheduled to attend to date include: Senator Norma Champion, leaving the 30th district due to term limits; 2nd District Greene County Commissioner Roseann Bentley; 134th Representative Jim Viebrock; 135th Representative Charlie Denison; 136th Representative Eric Burlison, and 139th Representative Shane Schoeller.
Dixon currently serves as State Representative for the 140th District, and will end a successful three term service to the citizens of that district in 2010.
Supporters encouraged Dixon to pursue the 30th District Senate seat being vacated by well-known Springfieldian Norma Champion. Following careful consideration and with his family’s endorsement, Dixon agreed to enter the race for the 30th Senate District. He campaigns for “Secure Jobs, Strong Schools and Safe Neighborhoods”. Dixon resides in mid-town Springfield with his wife Amanda and their three daughters: Grace, Rose and Olivia.
As the ceremony begins, guests will enjoy the Bel Canto Choir. Tours of the office will be conducted and all guests will enjoy ice cream complete with toppings.
The 30th Senatorial District includes the entire city of Springfield and areas just east and north of the city limits.
